Fluxite quick facts
- Spent on upgrades across tools, weapons, and drones
- Found naturally in small amounts
- Diggable with shovel, gun, drill, laser, and more
- Later produced by the Flux Emanator
Fluxite is the material Sandustry uses to upgrade your tools, weapons, and drones. It appears naturally in small amounts underground and, later in the game, can be produced by the Flux Emanator instead of only being dug up.
Fluxite is worth hoarding early because it gates progression on your equipment rather than just your production lines. Look for trace deposits while digging, then plan around the Flux Emanator once it unlocks.
Early on, Fluxite only shows up as sparse pockets you dig out by chance. Later, the Flux Emanator lets you produce it on demand instead of hunting for deposits.
Because Fluxite upgrades tools, weapons, and drones, a shortage usually slows your ability to dig, fight, and automate at the same time. See which upgrades to buy first when Fluxite is scarce.
Like other diggable materials, Fluxite needs a clean route from the dig site into storage or the machines that consume it.
