Redsand quick facts
- A Tier 4 base resource
- Mined from Redsoil and moved to your base
- Combines with Amethelis to make Voidbloom
- Only valuable as part of the Fluxite chain
Redsand is a Tier 4 base resource that appears when you start mining Redsoil. It is not a final product on its own: its job is to combine with Amethelis into Voidbloom.
Redsand is the first new input in the late-game Fluxite loop. Each step below is its own bottleneck, so read them in order.
Redsand comes from Redsoil, a later soil type. It is the source material, not something you can buy or unlock directly.
Redsand only becomes useful once it is back at your factory, so a clean route from the dig site to your storage matters as much as the mining itself.
Combine Redsand with Amethelis to form Voidbloom, which then feeds the Flux Emanator to produce Fluxite.
On its own it looks like a reskin of Sand, but its role is completely different.
Sand feeds the early Gold loop through the Shaker. Redsand's documented role is to enter the Voidbloom chain instead.
Reaching Redsand signals you have moved into the later automation phase, where on-demand Fluxite replaces scattered digging.
Redsand is easier to remember as one link in a short chain than as a standalone material.
The raw block you mine, deeper than the SandSoil that feeds your opening hours.
With Amethelis it becomes Voidbloom, and the Flux Emanator turns that into the Fluxite you spend on upgrades.
