Seed loop quick facts
- 1 Burnt Residue on a Kinetic Press yields 1 Gold + 1 Seed
- Seed + Water becomes a Wet Seed
- Wet Seeds grow into flowers on a Planter Box
- Flowers drop Gold and Amethelis
Spores is the word many players use for the organic half of Sandustry's resource web, but the official wiki names this chain Seeds. Burnt Residue dropped onto a Kinetic Press from height yields Gold and Seeds; wet the Seeds and place them on a Planter Box, and the flowers they grow into drop Gold and Amethelis when destroyed.
Seeds are the link between your industrial waste and a renewable source of Gold. Once you can process Burnt Residue through a Kinetic Press and wet the resulting Seeds reliably, you have opened a second production branch that is not just mining.
One Burnt Residue dropped onto a Kinetic Press from 25 or more blocks up becomes 1 Gold and 1 Seed. Height and fall distance are part of the recipe, not just a machine input.
Wet Seeds grow into flowers inside a Planter Box. The flowers are the actual harvest step that produces Gold and Amethelis.
Each flower head holds 4 Amethelis and 1 Gold, and its petals feed a late-game drying line, so the seed loop keeps paying off past the early game.
